French and British fast jet 'Exchange'

Two pilots, one from the RAF and one from the French Air Force, have achieved a ‘double first,’ by qualifying to fly each other’s fast jet aircraft. Typhoon pilot FLt Lt Matt ‘Johno’ Johnstone became the first RAF pilot to go solo on the French Rafale, while Rafale ace Capt Marc-Antoine Gerardhas become the first l'Armée de l'Air officer to fly the Typhoon.
