Bank fines given to support the Armed Forces
The Chancellor has announced that the fines levied on banks for

Lord Ashcroft's Report on 'The Armed Forces & Society'
Lord Ashcroft, himself a former serviceman, has conducted the biggest ever survey of British troops, which explores the relationship between Service personnel and wider society. The principles of the Armed Forces Covenant have been enshrined in law for the first time after the Armed Forces Bill received Royal Assent today.
