The world's last known surviving Service person from the First World War has died aged 110. Florence Green who served as a mess steward in the WRAF died in her sleep on Sat 4 Feb 12. Gp Capt David Cooper, Stn Cdr at RAF Marham, where Mrs Green served in 1918, said in a statement he was very sad to hear that Mrs Green had died and said that members of the RAF would be at her funeral...
