RAF Kinloss has Gone...

RAF Kinloss has marked the end of an era as the stn was handed over to the Army and became Kinloss Barracks. The Army's 39 Engineer Regiment officially took over the unit, which has been home to the RAF since 1939. The British Army is on the Move

The first Army unit moves has been confirmed by the MoD. 1,800 troops based in Germany will from Jan 12 be brought back to the UK. This includes troops moving into former RAF bases at Cottesmore and Kinloss and into Wittering.
