Job Vacancy - Director, RAF Families Federation

RAFA are looking to appoint a new Director to lead the RAF Families Federation from their head office located at Wittering. The RAF Families Federation has been established since 2007 to provide serving RAF personnel and their families with an independent voice on the issues that cause them concern. The Director will manage a small team of dedicated professionals and represent RAF families' views at Ministerial level and to senior MoD and RAF policy staff. Applicants must possess excellent leadership, management communication and interpersonal skills and be computer literate. The post also requires a sound understanding of the RAF lifestyle and its impact on families, confidence in managing budgets and an aptitude for public speaking and representation. Salary: c£40,000.
