On the 7 Jan 13 the rules on Child Benefit are changing. HMRC are sending letters to those families affected. The changes are that if one member of a household earns more than £50,000pa and either they, or the person they live with, claims Child Benefit then they will have to pay a High Income Child Benefit charge. In June the Prime Minister announced a review of childcare looking at how to reduce the costs for working families, and burdens on childcare providers, without compromising the safety or quality of provision.
