BBMF Lancaster recast as Thumper MkIII
The RAF BBMF Lancaster, PA474, has taken on a new identity as 617 Sqn Lancaster B1, DV385, 'Thumper Mk III'. The nose art features the cartoon rabbit – from ‘Bambi’ – holding a foaming pint of beer.
